Its hard to say when I began my career…You might say it started when I was very young—drawing all over my walls, my friends, myself. You might say it was the first time I set foot in a tattoo shop—talking to the artists and copying the designs off the wall. Or you could say it started when I took my first class at SCSU—my professor Janet Lehman looked through my portfolio and told me I should definitely continue with my art and bring it to the tattoo world. No matter which way you look at it, I have a passion for art that has been present for almost all my life.
In 2004, I got into the art of graffiti—walls, freight trains, highway spots, black books—and it expanded my horizons broader than I ever thought possible. I was connecting with newer, bolder artists who continue to inspire me to this day. In 2007, I started my apprenticeship with The Viper’s Nest and continued on to Tattoo Royal, both in Springfield, MA. In early 2009, I moved back to Connecticut and I now reside at the home of the best habitual line-steppers EVER—Phoenix Ink Tattoo.
